What Application Engineers Need Before Quoting a Class

Since 2016, Hyundai field desks have asked corridor EPCs and quarry reliability leads for the same measurable inputs — so the first reply can carry operating weight band, hydraulic system pressure notes and Tier 4 Final / EU Stage V document packs instead of a generic brochure.

Machine Envelope

State target operating weight (e.g. 22–30 t mid-size or 45–90 t mass-excavation), bucket capacity in m³, digging depth in mm and whether breakout force or slewing speed is the binding constraint on the cut.

Undercarriage Choice

Tell us if the package favors crawler excavators for soft ground pressure or wheeled excavators for paved-road repositioning. Mixed fleets are normal: crawlers for mass cut, wheeled units for drainage shoulders.
